Ifiok is a marketplace where customers, printers, designers, and our team work together to make printed work happen. These Community Standards explain how we expect everyone to behave so that experience stays a good one.
The Acceptable Use Policy covers the strict legal rules. These standards cover the everyday behaviour rules.
Treat each other with respect
- Speak to other people on the platform — customer, printer, support agent — the way you would want to be spoken to.
- Disagreement is fine; abuse is not. Insults, slurs, threats, or harassment in the order chat or messages are grounds for action against your account.
- Race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability are never legitimate targets for criticism on Ifiok.
Be honest
- Provide accurate information at signup and at checkout — name, address, contact.
- Do not impersonate another person or business.
- Do not file false disputes or chargebacks.
- Customers: leave honest reviews. Printers: do not solicit, manipulate, or retaliate over reviews.
- Printers: do not list services you cannot deliver to the standard you advertise.
Communicate
- Use the order chat. It is the record of what was agreed, and it is what our dispute team reads when something goes wrong.
- Reply in reasonable time — usually the same business day during working hours.
- If you need to step away from a conversation for a few days (travel, family, hardware failure), say so. Silence is the most common cause of disputes that did not need to happen.
Look out for fraud
- If something feels off — an unusually large order with rush production, a payment from an unfamiliar source, a request to ship somewhere different from the billing address — pause and contact support@ifiok.ng before proceeding.
- Never share your password, OTP, or 2FA code with anyone, including someone claiming to be Ifiok staff. Ifiok will never ask for these.
Respect intellectual property
- Only upload artwork you own or have permission to print.
- If a brand or design you want to print belongs to someone else, get written permission from the rights-holder first.
- If your work is misused on Ifiok, file a Copyright Claim.
Report problems
If you see content or behaviour on Ifiok that breaches these standards or the AUP — abusive messages, fraud attempts, unauthorised use of someone else's design, anything illegal — report it to support@ifiok.ng. We treat reports confidentially and we act on them.
What happens when standards are breached
Depending on severity we may issue a warning, hide content, restrict messaging, suspend the account pending review, or permanently terminate it. Where laws are broken we may also report the matter to the appropriate authority.
If you believe action against your account was taken in error, you can appeal — see the Acceptable Use Policy Appeals section.
